However, shortly after the announcement of their divorce, a source told E! News that Cavallari was "blindsided" by Cutler's sudden divorce filing. Not only are Jay Cutler and Kristin Cavallari working to resolve their divorce, but now it's time to say goodbye to their picturesque Nashville home. The couple acquired the scenic 8.5-acrehumble abodeback in 2012 for $5.3 million and listened it for sale in 2018 for a whopping $7.9 million.

More than one year later, Cavallari exclusively told Us Weekly about the key to coparenting with an ex. “I think the most important thing — and I learned this from my mom, was to always just never speak badly about the other person. Cavallari also had a mini-farm at the home she shared with Cutler, and she appears to have one at her new home as well, based on photos of a chicken coop she has shared. There is a large front porch with a swing on it which Cavallari sometimes uses for photoshoots. Other outdoor photos reveal that there is a barn on the sprawling property.
There are also awesome views from the porch and hills for sledding on the estate. "Kristin and Jay vacationed in Italy together in November with friends and everything seemed fine, but they've had a lot of issues this year and haven't been able to move past them," a source previously told The Sun. Fans of Kristin's reality show Very Cavallari will remember the property from the first and second season before the couple moved to another property just outside Nashville. As well as seven bedrooms, the palatial home features seven full bathrooms and three half bathrooms.
Their former home also features a movie theater room, a large kitchen and an outdoor eating area. "The first weekend ever really hung out we actually came to Nashville," Cavallari told The Tennessean last year. Co-listing agent Tim Thompson said the home's big rooms are perfect for entertaining. "The master is on first floor and on the second floor the kids' rooms are all down one hallway and adjoin a shared playroom," he told The Tennessean. Cutler told The Tennessean he loved the privacy the home gave the couple.
